Mission
The Rochester Memorial School Library Media Center supports students and staff by:
- Supporting the Common Core State Standards through media lessons.
- Supporting students to become skillful researchers and critical thinkers.
- Providing learning experiences that encourage students to become proficient and ethical users of information and technology.
- Supporting a lifelong love of reading.

Hours
Students in grades PK-6 visit the library once a week for a media lesson and book circulation. Students are welcome any time with permission from their teachers in order to do research or choose a book to read.
Library Checkout Policies
Checkouts by Grades:
Project Grow, Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 2: two books
Grade 3 – three books
Grades 4-6 – four books
Damaged or Lost Books
Students are responsible for the library books they checkout. If a book is damaged or lost it must be replaced or paid for.
